This should be a relatively quick park and grab, but the problem is, where to park? There is a nearby eatery close to ground zero, and it's a short walk, just be careful of the traffic.
this cache is named for a species of mammal, that, while not found in our area, does have plenty of relatives in our area. The species in question is more at home in British Columbia, Southeast and Southcentral, and Kodiak, Alaska. Enjoys spending most of it's time at the edges of forest, especially those with little undergrowth. They are browsers and in the spring, summer and fall enjoy grasses, blueberries and other wild plants, while in the winter they live off of Douglar-fir, red western cedar and lichens. The males go into rut in the autumn are are known foir their aggressiveness. The females give birth to twins, although a single fawn or triplets have been recorded. They are weaned in about 6 weeks and the young females usually spend two years with the mother, while the males usually depart in the first year. Who am I?
