Geocache Description:

Situated at beautiful Taylor Bay beach, our top-rated beach of all beaches we have visited in our lifetime. You won't be disappointed! The cache provides for a nice casual stroll along the beach, or a refreshing wander through the warm shallow waters of this bay, and a great view of TCI's famous turquoise waters.

Access to this beach can be found at the East end of the bay via Ocean Point Drive (a side road off of Chalk Sound Drive). Here you will find a small gravel parking lot on the right-hand side with a walking trail which will lead you the short walk to the beach.
Plan to stay for at least half a day relaxing in the shallow, warm, crystal clear waters and squishing icing-sugar sand between your toes. I tried to pick a spot for the cache that is relatively safe for people who might only be in bare feet. Exposed rock areas can be a bit sharp on the islands and I always seem to see broken glass on almost all exposed rock so please be careful! Also, watch out for the occasional seagrass burs that can stick to clothing and skin -they're tough, prickly little buggers, especially when stepped on!

Happy Finding! And most of all, have a great visit!

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
