Pond Creek Path - Celebrate Traditional Cache
bunrun: Caches have been out for over 4 years and it has been almost a year since anyone has cached this trail. Picked up the containers yesterday to free up the area for someone else to put out a little geo-stroll. Thanks to all that visited.

We celebrate special days, geo-caching milestones, promotions, retirements, or it just being a beautiful day to be alive. Whatever it is you are celebrating drop by, visit this cache and add a smiley to your day. Pond Creek Path is a currently unconnected section of the Louisville Loop. A nice paved multi-use path meanders along the banks for Pond Creek for about 1.5 miles before just ending in the middle of nowhere. There are two paved parking areas - Manslick Road vicinity of this cache and Lamborne Blvd. It is an easy hike with only slight and gradual elevation changes. There is some lowland along the trail and it may be muddy after a rain. Plan your footwear accordingly. Come on out enjoy the fresh air and grab a few caches. This is a recycle of the area. The original cache trail was placed by Show Me The Cache. Thanks SMTC for highlighting this area and for your fine hides that were here. Now it is your turn to hunt. You are looking for a centrifuge tube placed in something a little larger. Tweezers would certainly come in handy here. Contains only a log so bring your own pen. The coordinates have been averaged at least 100 times to within 8'. Your results may vary so a hint is being provided. The hint here may be less than helpful - get in the area and use your geo-sense. It should not be a hard find.
