Het gebied Woensel-Noord is ingedeeld in vier wijken en 21 buurten.

Jagershoef is een buurt in de wijk Ontginning, in het stadsdeel Woensel-Noord in de Nederlandse stad Eindhoven.

De naam Jagershoef is een fantasienaam, bedacht door de ontwikkelaars van de in de periode 1955-1964 opgeleverde nieuwbouw aldaar.

De straatnamen verwijzen naar (persoons-)namen uit de (middeleeuwse) literatuur, zoals o.a. Koning Arthur en de ridders van de ronde tafel.

Aan de Koning Arthurlaan is de politiepost voor Eindhoven-Noord en later alleen Woensel-Noord gevestigd geweest, van 1976 tot 2013

Jagershoef is a neighborhood in the District Ontginning, in the city part Woensel-Noord in the Dutch city of Eindhoven.

The name Jagershoef is a fantasy name, made up by the developers of this area, which was constructed in the period 1955-1964.

The streetnames are inspired by (personal) names of the (medieval) literature, such as King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

On the Koning Arthurlaan (King Arthur Avenue) the police station for Eindhoven-North (and later only for Northern Woensel) has been located, from 1976 until 2013
