This cache is located in Whitlam Woods Park. Start off on the Overlook Trail then follow the Bridge Trail, the cache is located not to far off of the Sugarbush Trail. This cache is placed with permission of the park district.
A geopile is a suspicious pile of sticks or rocks or bricks or any natural or man-made object that isn't normally found in stacks. This cache is located near what I'm guessing used to be the Sugarshack that allowed the Sugarbush, which the trail is named after, to turn Maple Sap into Maple Sugar.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO REMOVE BRICKS FROM THE STRUCTURE!!!
After you have done a few caches you start to get an eye for things that don't belong. This is typically referred to as "geo-sense" but there are lots of ways of saying the same thing. When you get to ground zero your geosenses should be tingling like spiderman's spidey senses right before a crime. Geopiles are only obvious if your looking for them. It is important to remember to please return the pile back to how you found it or better.
Please enjoy the walk around the trail back to where you started. If you do you will find that you have walked just about 1.25 miles.
