The reason why I have decided to place a cache at this location is that this is where I spent a number of my late teenage years and have a lot of fond memories of Coombe Dingle. It,s placed just 250 meters from my parents house and where I lived 29 years ago. Close by was in it,s time one of the best pubs in the area THE PROGRESS which has sadly closed and is now a nursery.
The cache itself is a micro that has room only for a log book so please bring your own pen. I have placed the cache on a bridge which can be accessed from both below via steps, or from the road. It is wheelchair accessible from above but be aware of the busy road, especially if you have children or dogs with you. The route is often used by dog walkers to gain access to the fields below and a nearby bus stop could present a problem especially bored commuters waiting for a bus who may pick up on what you are doing so stealth is required. The cache is straight forward especially for the veterans who im sure would have come across this type on many occasions. HAPPY HUNTING
