Geocache Description:

This was a tough hide that took a while to get out. As I was loading up the bicycle Blinky7 asked me how was I gonna carry that ammo can? As usual, my answer was short and sweet. "Tote it." "On a bike?" "Well yeah... Not to worry it will one of the first hides I say." As it turned out it visited 11 GZ's before we found a worthy location. Muggles! Muggles! Muggles! and that's all I have to say about that. Then, finally the perfect spot hit my radar. Then the discussion(s) about "where to hide it" ensued and needless to say after lugging that thing with one hand, shifting gears, applying brakes, sorting the GPS and occasionally steering with the other hand anywhere was looking pretty good to me. Finally, we agreed on the perfect spot! Finally!!!

Muggles! Muggles! Muggles! Please use stealth!

These caches are along the NRT paved greenway and are mostly rated a 2 terrain due to the distance from parking. The terrain may be higher further from the trail.

The closer to the trail you find the cache the more stealth is needed. Please step away from GZ while you sign the log. This will help to foil the pesky muggles. Thank You!

The Neuse River Trail is part of the Mountains To The Sea Trail. When complete the trail will be about 35 miles long, starting at the dam at Falls Lake and ending at the Wake County Line near Clayton. The trail is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please obey the posted rules.

As always,

Enjoy the hunt!
