Your quest is to find each of the caches on Flintormis Island, and, if you wish, a nearby hidden clue at each which will help you solve the puzzle. Are you up for an adventure? A quest? If so, read on! But be warned, it is not for the faint of heart!
Rules for "The Island Series" (TIS) of caches:
- Please NO night caching. Do not get caught on the Island after sundown.
- Once on the Island, do not leave the Island except at Landers Reef where you may return to your ship. You may be tempted to walk the shores, which is ok, but do not swim across any of the bays.
- This can be a fun adventure for children, however, it is up to you to judge their abilities. Terrains can run high and it is no quest for those that tire easily.
- At some point in the past, a pack o' scurvy dogs ran some barbed-wire fencing down the center of the Island. We saw it in a few places, but never had to climb over it. Beware it exists.
- Artifacts found at cache sites are not caches; please leave them be or risk upsetting the Island.
- Keep your wits, watch the sun, and be safe. The Island is best travelled with company.
- For safety sake, wear a bright colour. It's possible there might be hunting in the area.
- The attributes are based on our assumption that you will be going for all the caches at the same time. Depending on the route chosen, you may or may not encounter the attributes selected. There are multiple routes and terrains depending on your path.
- A final warning, NO night caching is permitted. The Island after sundown is reserved for the mariners souls to wander undisturbed.
