Geocache Description:

The Azalea City Trail is a wonderful addition to our city, providing a 2.7 mile trail through the city, beginning at the Vallotton Youth Complex and ending at the Craig Center (Senior Citizen Center) on Gordon St. It is a convenient multipurpose trail, whether you would like to take a nice long stroll, go on a bike ride, skate, or take your dog on a walk, it can accommodate your needs.

This location is the beginning of the Azalea City Trail (A.C.T.) and it's also the location of a Remote Control (R/C) Car Race Track. The Race Track has a raised platform from which drivers can view the entire track and a worktable behind the platform for your Pit Crew.

If you have a r/c vehicle, bring it out and have some fun. Afterwards, take a walk along the A.C.T., enjoy another one of our cities assets that is underutilized and grab some geocaches along the way.

This cache is the first in a series of caches which will be placed along the entire length of the A.C.T.

After you locate (and log) the cache continue along the A.C.T. and enjoy a peaceful walk while grabbing a few more geocaches. Don’t forget to bring a bag or two with you. As with all public spaces, there will be ample opportunity to CITO while you cache!

Congratulations to scrappyB on the First to Find!
