The cache is a 35mm film canister which has room for not much more than a small logbook. You'll need your own pen or pencil. When first set up, the cache contained one US quarter.
Brasenose Park is a small park tucked away at the end of Brasenose Place. It's reasonably picturesque, being hemmed in by bush on three sides and is not heavily used - which no doubt suits the locals.
There is a reasonable view of Tawa from parts of the northeastern edge of the park. It's fringed by pohutukawa which bloom red for a short time in early January.
Brasenose is one of around 15 streets in Redwood, Tawa, named after colleges at Oxford University.
The cache is 2-3m, well maybe just a metre or two, into the bush. If you're lucky you might hear a tui when looking for the cache.
This is my first hide and is timed to celebrate my 100th find.
