The Kingsway area of Gloucester is a Geocaching wilderness! In order to rectify this, a simple cache and dash with easy access has been created in one of the many green spaces on the estate. Others caches may follow in due course.
The cache is located off a cycle path/footpath that runs from the Cole Avenue lights into the Kingsway estate. The path is popular with pedestrians, dog walkers and cyclists, so stealth is required. The No 15 bus stops on Thatcham Avenue within feet of the cache. Car drivers should avoid parking on the yellow lined areas on Thatcham Avenue as this is a clearway for the aforementioned bus.
CAR DRIVERS AND MOTOR CYCLISTS BEWARE! DO NOT USE THE DIRECT ACCESS INTO KINGSWAY FROM QUEDGELEY THAT GOES UNDER THE A38 ADJACENT TO THE SHOPPING CENTRE AS THERE IS RESTRICTED ACCESS FOR BUSES, TAXIS AND CYCLES – PENALTY £60.
The cache is cleverly disguised. There is NO room for GCs or TBs.
