The Azalea City Trail is a wonderful addition to our city, providing a 2.7 mile trail through the city, beginning at the Vallotton Youth Complex and ending at the Craig Center (Senior Citizen Center) on Gordon St. It is a convenient multipurpose trail, whether you would like to take a nice long stroll, go on a bike ride, skate, or take your dog on a walk, it can accommodate your needs. #7. This cache is located at one of the oldest parks in our city. It is an 11.1 acre park across from the Valdosta State Unniversity (Go Blazers). Drexel Park is well-known for many activities that take place here each year. The Azalea Festival is the largest festival, tailgating before football games, dog shows and other events take place here each year. The Azalea Festival is very family-oriented offering many activities & entertainment for everyone. This years event will be held March 9th -10th. Saturday 10am-6pm & Sunday 10am-5pm Admission is FREE. So come HANG out at Drexel and take some pictures, enjoy a picnic, let the kiddos play or just relax & find a Cache.
