The Hunger Games: District 1 Mystery Cache

The only way to defeat the Capitol…. Find District 13

This will be a series consisting of 32 traditional and 13 puzzle caches. To find District 13 you will need to find 2 tributes from each District (totaling 24), which will get you the pieces need to find the actual District. Each District cache will then contain a code word for your final mission. There will be an additional 8 caches just for the fun of it. There will be 2 Tributes and one District released up until the release of  “Catching Fire”, on which that day District 13 will be released. Each district will progressively go up in difficulty and/or terrain. The first 3 people to compete all 32 caches will receive a yet to be determined prize.



District 1

District 1 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Its primary industry is manufacturing luxury items for the Capitol. These luxuries include diamonds and other precious gems, and it seems that parents from District 1 name their children after precious items and their attributes, which may be a reflection on their "glamorous" nature. Children in District 1 almost always seem to take pride in competing in the Hunger Games, and are among the group of tributes that band together to pick off the weaker contestants, known as Careers.
 
 
Cache Info:

Do NOT go to posted coords. All you will find is a bunch of cars coming at you. You will also need internet access Or a smart phone to get the needed information. You will find no information at the first set of coords, but everything can be found on their website.

Once you defeat District 1’s tributes enter your coordinates in Google maps. It should place you near the entrance to a local business, once you have that information go to the website of the business:
XX = The 1^st number of the year that the business won Winemasters Choice Awards Silver Medals x the number of wines that won Silver + 84
YY = The number of letters in the Wine maker’s first name x  The number of wines that won 2011 Winemasters Choice Award Gold Medal Winners +15
Cache IS NOT at posted coordinates and IS NOT on Vineyard property but is nearby.

You are looking for a small Lock-N-Lock, placed in a typical manner. Please do not park on either business property, there is a small pull off to the side of the road. When placing this cache I did find a tick on me (in January) so be aware that it’s possible. Hide it’s self is a 1/1.5. Starting with a Travel Bug and two plastic dinosaurs.
