Sterkfontein Caves Event
Join us for an educational visit to the Sterkfontein Caves at 11:30 to see what the fuss is about.

The tours at the Sterkfontein Caves, which start above ground and then take visitors deep into the caves, run every half hour, seven days a week.
The admission fees are listed below. I suggest that we buy a Combination ticket and visit both sites. The choice is yours.
Please note:
This educational tour are arranged for ALL Geocachers and limited to Geocachers only.
Please wear comfortable shoes when going to the caves and leave your handbags and other luggage behind. There are a number of tight spots and pathways to negotiate in the caves and it is not advisable to do the tour if you are claustrophobic. It is also not advisable for people who suffer from acute asthma or chest problems to do the tour as there are a lot of stairs.

Please note: the combination ticket is only available until 1pm, in order for visitors to have enough time to see both exhibitions.
The Maropeng Visitors’ Centre and its restaurants are all wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, Sterkfontein Caves are not.
