Geocache Description:

Moby Dick originated as a book by Herman Melville, published in 1851. It then became a film released in 1956, starring Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab and and Richard Baseheart as Ishmael.

The story follows the whaling ship Pequod and its crew. Leading them is Captain Ahab, who was almost killed by the 'great white whale', Moby-Dick. Now he is out for revenge. With the crew that has joined him, Ahab is out to destroy the huge mammal, but soon he learns that his obsession with vengeance is so great that he cannot turn back, eventually leading to his death & all save his newest able seaman, Ishmael.

The film was made in and adjacent to the location of the cache. Film boffs could do worst than retire to the famous pub named after the killer whale, and view the walls festooned with film memorabilia.

The cache is a magnetic nano, patience and perseverance an asset.
