This cache is located on a back road that will take you to a concrete weir that can be crossed under most circumstances. If the lake is high it is best to approach the weir from the Lake Ohau side. On a good day you can do the round trip from Twizel to Lake Ohau and back to the main road via a gravel road. The cache is a 400 ml container. Enclosed is log book, pencil and a few swaps.
