Geocache Description:

This cache was place by a 6 year old and her cousin and is an easy location for children

The cache is situated on a well known local walk in the area of Furness Abbey through Abbotwood Reserve. The tracks/roadway are well kept and lend for a good walk over looking the abbey ruins. Walking the circular route unearths other structures made from local sandstone. Unfortunately due to a large number of steps some parts of the walk are not entirely suitable for prams/trollies. This cache is published with the permission of Barrow Borough Council.
