CONGRATULATIONS to muddajay on find number 1000 (and counting!)
This silver ammo can is placed in tribute to muddajay's grand accomplishment. (It actually happened some time ago, but finally got off my lazy behind and got this placed.) Located in Whitetail Ridge, this area is great for hiking, mountain biking, and taking in the natural surroundings of River Falls. Park at the posted coordinates (not in the business lots) and take the trail back to the cache and enjoy the journey.
Congratulations muddajay, and thanks for the fun caches placed in and around River Falls too!
About Whitetail Ridge
Whitetail Ridge has 160 acres of open space (much of it wooded, with a couple of nice prairie areas and some nice hills). Located between the River Falls industrial park and Kilkarney Hills golf club, it offers up some nice hiking trails and off-road cycling trails. Home of the Kinnickinnic Off-Road Cyclists (KORC) this group has done a fantastic job of improving the riding trails for all off-road enthusiasts. Check out their website for trail maps and club information. Thursday evenings are race night during the summer months. Good parking and trailhead near the corner of Whitetail and Prairie Drive. Please take care while walking the trails and enjoy the scenery!
