High Water Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nederlass: Well, it had to happen sometime. Went back to check on this one, and spent almost an hour climbing up and down the rock face, but alas. No sign. The elements probably finally got to this one.
Thanks to all who went to look for this bad boy.

Geocache Description:

The gorgeous Chinook Bend Natural Area is very prone to flooding.  All throughout the area, clumps of dry, dirty grass can be seen in tree branches from past floods.

This spot is below the flood line, but will probably not be hit by water every year.  The water level was pretty low when I placed the cache, but it can be quite unpredictable in this area. The cache was hidden so it wouldn't float away during mild floods. Please make sure to rehide it this way as well. If the water level is high while you are there, let me know. We also love seeing pics of the varying water levels. Should be unaffected by too many brambles.

UPDATE 07/2020, newly adopted: I agree with others that this is over a 2T. I think I'd have given it a 2.5, but I don't want to mess with people's challenges, so I'll let it stand. Cache is in good shape and, while there can be some sneaky random blackberry vines here and there, reasonably far away from crazy vegetation. It did have quite a bit of dried up mud on it, so looks like it got flooded after all? Finally: I had more luck attempting from below than above. ;) Happy caching!
