Erocks: Well it's finally time to archive this cache. I woke up this morning to a new sky light in the quinzee, so I figured due to safety reasons it's time to archive. Thanks to everyone that came to find the cache. Also those who gave us a favorite point. 32 total points. Thanks again everyone.

This quinzee was built by Erocks, AngelFreak, and her two daughters. It took 8-10 hours to build this so please be careful not to break it.

How to build a quinzee:
  1. Shovel out the area you want to use (down to the ground).
  2. Replace the snow onto the area you dug out and then build up to desired amount.
  3. Let stand for 2-4 hours.
  4. Start digging out the entrance.
  5. Work from the ground up, to prevent caving.
Note: If you start to see light coming through the walls as your tunnelling then STOP. That is the perfect thickness for the wall (about 6").

The four of us enjoyed sleeping in the quinzee the night we built it. You are welcome to spend the night inside it too! We will even make you a cup of hot chocolate (and maybe breakfast the next morning, if we are home).
