Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Larkin State Park Trail Series

IMPORTANT NOTE - Spring 2024 - There is a new fence near GZ. GZ is OUTSIDE the fence. There is no need to go inside the fenced in area to retrieve the cache. Also note that there are prickers near GZ so care must be taken in the area.

This is a series of caches along the Larkin State Park Trail (LSPT). This trail is 10.3 miles long and takes one back to the great railroad days of the late 1800s and early 1900s. It follows an old railroad trail through the four towns of Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oxford and Southbury.

For more information on this series, some helpful hints and important updates, go to LSPT 01 (GC42MYG)

Special thanks to Giriando who was the original owner of this cache and the architect of this wonderful series.
