This on-site puzzle cache is at the posted coordinates in Montgomery Hall Park in Staunton, VA. There are plenty of hiking trails, which you may or may not use to reach this cache location.
Park at the parking coordinates. These parking coordinates will take you to a location near a picnic shelter with picnic tables and charcoal grill close by. Proceed down the green (by the telephone poles, which should be in front of you) and quickly leads you to a connector trail on the right that hooks up to the Yulee trail. When I hit the fork, I went left onto the Yulee trail and followed it for a short while. I am not going to tell you to take a specific trail to the cache location because I found it easier to jump across trails that tend to wind back and forth. My best advice is to follow your GPS/compass device. This is hidden in winter, and easier to skip across the trails, so it may be more difficult and involve bushwacking in the summer. Either way, the good new is that the cache is located right off of a hiking trail. It is near a spot on the trail that takes a sharp winding turn and is beside a dried up stream. You are looking for a camoed cylindrical container. Once you arrive at the cache location, you will have to solve a puzzle. You must solve the puzzle to reach the cache contents and log book. You will not get credit for this cache unless you sign the log book. But no worries, there is a very comfortable spot at GZ to sit and solve the puzzle.
