THE LIZARD TRAIL
The lizard trail will be a number of trails around the local waterways mainly using the canals to form a walk that will link up with other geocaches to hopefully form a walk of a circular route.
The length of each walk may be different and you may wish to wait until all the walks are out so that they may be done in a circular pattern instead of the dreaded linear ones.
It is my intention to place a cache of each size on this route and hides should be easy with the odd sneaky one thrown in, well I have got to keep you on your toes.
The route takes in nice green areas and cuts through urban areas.
Please as usual with geokids near to water please keep an eye on them and please be aware that although most caches are geokid friendly the odd cache will need an adult to retrieve.
The route as with any canal walks depends on the weather, good in dry and wet and muddy during wet weather periods. The route welcomes geohounds and the use of bikes. You will encounter a few styles and if your are lucky horses, but they are friendly.
The full route of the lizard trails will be about 17 miles long. Please me mindful of the potential risk of attack by muggles.
Please make sure you take along a pen and tweezers and maybe a magnet as you may need one.
