Geocache Description:

Although still quite new to caching, I have observed one thing – this is a community good at saying thanks.  Take Tzinny for example.  When he enjoys a series, he is very likely to leave behind a thank you cache.   For example, during the last two weeks alone he has left appreciation caches for eyeseeit, AKiteFlyer, and PsychoVW.  And if you scroll through his hides (over a hundred at the time of this writing) you’ll see LOTS of Thank You caches.

Well, I have thoroughly enjoyed his Retired Cubs Numbers series, and this cache is in appreciation of Tzinny. Although Kerry Wood’s jersey number hasn’t been retired, he did give Cubs fans some unforgettable memories – especially his twenty-strikeout game which tied the major league record when Kid K was only 20 years old and a rookie.  At his best, Kerry Wood was untouchable.  Here’s a link to that unforgettable game:  http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/24585/kerry-wood-and-the-greatest-game-pitched

You are looking for a cammo’d bison tube iin a small (Kerry) “Wood-ed” area very near Tzinny’s great series.  There is plenty of street parking nearby.  Happy caching!

And hey Tzinny, THANKS!

Tzinny found this at night for the "honorary FTF," with his pal n9tog along to help test the hide.

And hearty congratulations to the Geofogies who earned the FTF honors, appropriately enough, on Thanksgiving day!
