The geocache is on the Tarka Trail at Bideford Station. It can be found as part of a walk along the Trail or it can be found while visiting the station from Bideford.
There was previously a geocache at this station which was one of the first we tried to do. We attempted to do it 3 times with a smartphone app, which proved not to be very smart. This was one of the experiences which prompted us to buy a Garmin, which took us straight there on the 4th try. This is such an interesting place and great for a cache so we wanted to replace it when the previous one was removed.
Stealth is definitely needed here as the station can be busy at times. You are looking for a magnetic keysafe, which has been removed from its previous place, the magnet is no longer necessary. It is not placed near the lines, it can only be reached from the platform, please do not climb onto rails, please put it back in the same place. You will need to be taller than me as Jon had to place the cache. I am vertically challenged.
