Geocache Description:

This is a regular sized cache at nearly the highest point of Ed Willson trail. The highest point was a bit barren, so I went down a few feet.

Take a hike along the new Ed Willson trail. A good starting point is the dam parking lot at Coyote Lake (parking fee or annual pass required). You can also access it from the free parking in San Martin at the Harvey Bear entrance, or if you are really crazy, from the also free Mendoza Ranch entrance of off Roop road. The round trip hike from the dam is a little over 4 miles. That assumes you do the whole Ed Wilson trail and not just go out and back.

Enjoy the awesome views, and if it's wet like it was today, gaining a few inches in height from the mud on the bottom of your shoes!

Oh... and watch out for cows... based on the plentyful "pies" they seem to like GZ quite a bit, although none were actually there today!

The container is full of small geocaching containers (sorry no camo or logs). Feel free to take one of these w/o trading if you promise to hide it in the next month or so. Ideally in the Gilroy area ;->

There is some other swag for trade mostly kid related.

FTF prize in the bag with the log.
