On the west edge of Dartmoor National Park.
There are many Tors in the Dartmoor area. Brent Tor is on the outskirts of Dartmoor, close to the historic town of Tavistock, and is well worth a visit. On a clear day the view is outstanding, you can see for miles and miles in every direction, even as far as Plymouth Sound. The church on top of the Tor (see picture 1) which is still in use, makes this a particularly interesting landmark.
