Geocache Description:

This cache is located within a short walk of three museums and a future park. It is also facing the street where 11 of Greeneville's mayors lived during their terms of office.

This is an easy Park and Grab, magnetic cache – exactly where you expect it to be.

The three nearby museums are the Nathanael Greene, a storehouse of history related to Greene County, which is named for the Revolutionary War General, Nathanael Greene; the City Garage Car Museum, which Kent Bewley opened in 2009 (his family had been in the automobile business since 1937); and the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site, which is under the auspices of the National Park Service. Beside the Homestead and catty-corner to the Nathanael Greene is a lot destined to become a park.
