Geocache Description:


Recently, I ran across a website titled The Lonely Cache Project (www.lonelycache.com).  One of the goals of the project is to get people to visit caches that do not get many visitors.  Thus, the name ‘Lonely Cache’.

The cache is a home-made, sign-only, film-canister-sized container and is actually at the listed coordinates.  If you want to sign it, you better bring your own pencil.  Before you run out and grab this cache, you must find two Lonely Caches.  A Lonely Cache is defined as a cache that has not been found within the last year (365 days).  You can count Lonely Caches from anywhere in the world.  If you find a Lonely Cache with a friend, you can both count the find.  If someone finds a lonely cache ten minutes before you, it is no longer a lonely cache and you cannot count the find. 
 
Let’s remove all of the Lonely Caches in southern New Mexico.

This cache is not for people who want another park&grab to increase there numbers.  This cache is for people who want to increase the caching experience for everyone.  By finding Lonely Caches, you will insure that caches stay current.
