The first part of the Wairere Drive Extension that will eventually provide far improved access from North to South Hamilton via the Eastern side of the city. This road has been a long time coming, however I am sure that many of the adjoining residents will not be quite so pleased about the prospect.
This "improvement" below will be opened officially on the 27 October 2012 and will allow for easier access at the present time to Five Crossroads. Those that regularly travel both North and South eagerly await further stages to be opened.

Please NO PARKING on the footpath as this will be very dangerous. Parking is available close by.
Choose your time well as EYES will be on you. Close by, there are likely to be large numbers of muggles, both the walking, cycling and vehicular varities.
