This cache is placed as a tribute to the Cachers' Cachers - the Danvers Duo. They exemplify what a Cacher should be - friendly, enthusiastic about all aspects of caching, willing teachers, and willing to learn. We met them early in our caching days, and have enjoyed their company often. There aren't many cachers in the area they don't know and many have had the privilege of caching with them.
The cache is deliberately placed in where else? ... Danvers! Several caches are placed in this beautiful area, including 2 of the Duos. For that reason, we assumed that they like this place and would like the one in their honor placed here too.
This traditional cache is a small lock and lock placed in a beautiful section of the Danvers/Topsfield Rail Trail. The new Swamp Walk is a particularly scenic part of this area and is where you will find the cache.
The cache contains a log book and pencil, an unactivated FTF Geocoin, a TB, and a FTF prize that shares the Danvers Duo's initials.
