This cache is about 110 feet into the woods from the road.
This is another cache in a series along the route of the Joseph Standing Marathon which starts and ends at the Joseph Standing Memorial (near Cache GCTEBK). This walking marathon occurs on the last Saturday of October each year. This is a beautiful rural area in North Georgia that we love to walk mile after mile. Many cyclists have discovered these roads as well.
This cache is a re-birth of the cache that was formerly known as "The Mirage". The mirage factor (an abandoned Pepsi machine cover in the woods) has been hauled away, so I am relying upon a more natural container this time.
This is a low traffic area. There is parking on the shoulder of the road near the cache. You should be parking near a fire hydrant (but don't break the law) The container is a clear long plastic tube.
