Tried putting something back and the local cafe owner said that it was the council who took down the last one.

This hidden cache is very small.
As a capital marker, I pose like stone,
But am metal made, and stand alone.
Even when the weather's pleasant,
I hide a Nano, beneath a crescent.
Have you found me? Look up higher.
Stare too long and I might breathe fire!
Due to the actual location being unmagnetised, look for the cache container about 1 foot south west. Should find it easy enough.
