This will be the last XX-XX-XX event that can be held, since there is no 13-13-13 possible, so come to the 12-12-12 event before the series ends!
Event is being held at the Dennys on Shaw Avenue, at 1110 East Shaw. Event runs from 6 pm to 8 pm. This location worked out very well for the February 29th event, so I'm re-using it. They have a back room with a door that closes, giving us privacy. I would encourage people to consider eating there or at least ordering a drink/appetizer/dessert, since we are using their space.
There was a coin designed for this day and events, and I’ll post a photo of the artwork once the event is published. The colors are unique to Fresno and my family’s caching town- Fredericksburg, VA. The coin has its own icon and the design is the same across events that are participating, but each location got to choose our own colors so each coin looks very different. My family and I went in together on having these minted, so they’re only available at this event in Fresno or the one in Fredericksburg. If you want a coin set aside for you, please go to the “Geocaching Fresno” group page on Facebook and add your name to the document I created there, which is the list for reservations.
There will be a geocaching contest of course- a little different from games we've played in the past, but hopefully just as fun. One of the coins mentioned above will be the prize to the person who finishes the game first.
