A small cemetery with but a few stones that are concentrated in the southwest corner. Please "DO NOT CACHE AT NIGHT" as entry to the cemetery is via a farm field. Parking is at roadside and it is a short walk (app. 75 - 100 metres) to the cemetery where the boundaries are defined by a metal fence. Depending on the depth of snow the cemetery could be difficult to access in the winter.
A stone erected in 2005 reads, in part, 'Dedicated to the memory of the families who pioneered at Black's Corners in 1825 - Black, Copeland, Kennedy, Love, and Wright."
The first use of the cemetery appears to be 1846. Please be respectful and try to imagine how this area may have appeared in 1825.
A round of applause and a tip of my cap to dogan for the FTF!
