Trick or Treat? Event Cache

Come along to Polkemmet Country Park near Whitburn, West Lothian for an afternoon of Halloween themed caching and for one night only a spooky 'trick or treat' trail....

....are you brave enough?

The Trick or treat trail will be open from about 5pm, just head for the event shelter (Archie) in the car park. From there you will be set onto the terrifying trail into the trees to discover the hidden horrors. 
Will you brave the mad scientists lair?
Can you beat the grizzly ghoul?
Will the pumpkin patch be your undoing?
....are you brave enough to come to West Lothian??

We'll be setting people off in small groups, so there may be a wait for your turn, but dont worry! There will be new caches nearby and JackieC's usual spread of refreshements. 

The route is NOT going to be miles, and has NO hills. It will be buggy /small child friendly (with the odd place where you need to leave the path to retrieve and log a cache or three!). 
But still come along in boots/wellies in case its wet and dont forget a torch.

A special 'Trick or Treat' goodie bag will be given to all who come along in costume, and a prize will be awarded to the best costume of the event.

Polkemmet Country Park only has one active cache and one virtual at the moment, so there is lots of room for new caches. Caches will be published for the event a couple of days before and it would be great if you could leave them until the day of event for finding.

The visitors centre at Polkemmet (with toilet facilities) will be open till 16:15, and the tearooms in the park (also with toilet facilities) will be open until 18:00
