Detta är #4 i en fristående serie traditionella cacher vid de större badplatserna i Alingsås.
Övriga cacher i serien är Playa Mjörn, Lövekulle samt Gräfsnäs.
This is # 4 in an independent series of traditional caches on the theme “Beaches in Alingsås”.
The other caches are Playa Mjörn, Lövekulle and Gräfsnäs.
Det finns gott om stora och små sjöar i området runt Alingsås. Kultur- och fritidsförvaltningen ansvarar för tio badplatser runt om i kommunen.
Badbryggor finns på åtta badplatser i kommunen medan ett par kommunala badplatser saknar badbryggor. Inför varje säsong kontrolleras badbryggorna av dykare som samtidigt söker av botten.
Vid Lygnareds badplats finns brygga med handikappramp och vid campingen finns tillgång till kiosk, toalett och café.
Lygnareds badplats är registrerat som EU-badplats av Alingsås kommun och badvattenkvalitén bedöms som utmärkt.
Sjön Stora Färgen är också staden Alingsås huvudvattentäkt.
There are plenty of large and small lakes in the area around Alingsås and Alingsås kommun is responsible for ten beaches around the municipality.
At the beach of Lygnared there is a jetty with a handicap ramp and there are toilets, waste bins and a kiosk. Right next to the beach there is also a playground.
The lake, Stora Färgen, is also the main water source for the city of Alingsås.
