A moderate beautiful walk through the old growth forest following the creek. The trail goes up to Gunsight Lake in the alpine. The cache is at at the halfway mark on the trail and should take less than 2 hours each way. If you park at the entrance to the gravel pit please do not park in front of the gate or you will be towed.
The cache is in an ammo can hidden just past the bridge crossing the creek, 3kms from the trail head. The exact co-ordinates were hard to get as my GPS was having a hard time in the mountains. I averaged 6 waypoints. The hint will be helpful!
