The RootBeer Stand started operation in 1957 and for the first time has invited geocachers here for a get together. The cords take you to the entrance on Reading Rd. just North of downtown Sharonville Ohio. Road GPS -11566 Reading Rd. Sharonville, Ohio 45241.
Event hours- 6-8 or 9pm if anyone wants to hang out that long. We'll have cornhole and other yard games and maybe even a new cache. Bring your family and some good ole caching stories.
Permission was granted by The Owner ( Scott ) and if you see him, say Thanks for allowing us to hang out here.
There will be overflow parking available if their lot gets over crowded ( either next door toward Kemper Rd or across the street if I can get their permission for that, keep an eye on this page for further details.
Theres no purchase required but If you come hungry or thirsty, they can help you with that. I wish I could put a line in here that says, I'm Buying but I can't, so you'll have to take care of that yourself.
If you've never seen a Brown Cow, come to this event and we'll saddle one up and you can take her for a spin, Yes, you read it right, you can try riding a Brown Cow. It's way different from Bull Riding and a lot more fun and a lot tougher to get injured.
If you arrive a couple hours early, The Beautiful " Sharon Woods Park " has plenty of caches to keep you occupied. And is less than a mile away! Park entrance fees apply ( I think its $3. a day or $10. annual )
