96B (Bravo) is the former MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) code for Intelligence Analyst. It has been reclassified as 35F (Foxtrot) now. Now that's more appropriate since Mrs. Ground Fox was one of those.

The intelligence analyst is primarily responsible for the analysis, processing and distribution of strategic and tactical intelligence. They are integral to providing Army personnel with information about enemy forces and potential battle areas.

Intelligence analysts also instruct servicemembers on vehicle and weapons identification of opposing forces equipment, as well as instruction on proper firing of these weapons.

Because mostly all of the work done in this field is classified, there definitely is no bringing work home with you.
