Access to cache is through the parking lot just past the toll house. DO NOT access it from River Point Landing property.
An RV park and boat storage facility are part of the Buckley Cove offering. Located at the west end of March Lane, you will also find Ladd's Marina, the Stockton Sailing Club, and Buckley Cove Fishing Access (boat launch). A delightful picnic area is located in the Park, which lies along the San Joaquin River/Deep Water Channel. You are bound to spot folks out fishing along the Channel, and it is not uncommon to see boating activity of various sorts, ranging from small sail boats to huge ocean freighters.
For access to this and our other two geocaches in the Park, you may park along the road just outside Buckley Cove Park and walk to the cache, or you can pay the park fee and drive on through the gate to pick up the cache(s), then enjoy a picnic in the park. After the park toll house closes in the evening, you may enter free of charge. (If you park along March Lane outside the park entrance, be certain to lock valuables in the trunk and leave nothing of value visible within you car.)
