A BACKBONE TRAIL CACHE. There used to be a cache very near this spot. It was not a very easy find, but this one is. The container is a small medicine bottle. BYOP
Eagle Rock is a spectacular geological feature. Worth a visit and now you can notch a cache as well. The cache is under a rock at the top of the ridge between the service road and the single track trail. For those cachers who might be thinking of placing a cache in the apparent gap to the east, be advised that the Lucky Garapito multi cache stations block a considerable length of the Backbone Trail.
