A red bison hanging in bush within 5 minutes walk from the road
A well hidden small church with a low tower which originally had a spire(demolished in 1902 when it became unsafe)The church is Grade II*. The first thing observed after walking up the drive and around the prominent yew tree is a bright blue painted door. The earliest record of the church here is 1350.This was demolished and rebuilt by James Templar, using some of the original granite. The first service in 1787 was attended by the the Templar family.Inside there are many memorials to members of the Templar family. The interior of the church is blue painted and a striking feature is the large pieta used as an altar piece and attributed to James Barry . Please note that there is a service here each Sunday at 9.0am except the fourth when it is at 3.0pm If anyone would like to expand this series please do.I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication There is also a Church Micro Stats page found in the Bookmark list We have upgraded the difficulty for this cache. It is in the bush but we ask everyone to search carefully and not cause damage to the plant.Use eyes to look down in a gap.
