A cache near the top of the western Summit Road with views towards McKenzie Bay - and the first glimpse of the lighthouse.
When we walked the road from the summit down to McKenzie Bay there was only one cache to find on the way - so we decided to add another. Our cache is hidden at a spot with nice long views and a bit of interesting history nearby. The road itself and the rock walls here were built by convict labour between 1929 and 1936. And as the name would suggest, the lighthouse can be seen from here.
The cache is a 400ml camoed systema. There is no need to leave the road to reach the cache, nor to damage any plants to retrieve it. A spoiler photo is available to make the find easy.
