Geocache Description:

Hopefully the start of a series of our local caching heroes.

When we first started geocaching, the first cache that we ever found was first found by Slogger 007. As we carried on round our local area he had the majority of first to finds. The kids sort of got quite attatched to him and every cache we then found they would check to see if he had got it first.
When a new cache was published they would always ask
"Daddy, did we get a first to find?"
"Sorry kids, no" (if we hadn't)
"oww, but  did we beat Slogger?"
"Yes kids"
Shouting and screaming and fist punching usually followed at this point.
Slogger was also one one the first cachers that we bumped into out in the field (beating him to a few ftf's around a newly published series) and we had a nice chat. It turned out that as well as being a caching legend, he was actually a nice bloke as well. The kids were made up.
"Was that REALLY Slogger?"
"Yes kids."
"Wow!!"
Since then we have been on and done all his caches and had lots of fun and learnt new skills in the process. Big girl beat him by seconds to another FTF, we rescued one of his caches and still marvel at the appetite for caching that he has(Yes, we had the jellyfish all worked out ready for the morning!!).
So here it is, our tribute to the great man. If you love him too or just fancy a bit of a walk try and work out the puzzle.

To find the first stage of this tricky puzzle, try to guess who our first caching hero is and use some of the numbers in his caching name to complete the coordinates below.
