Geocache Description:

"Eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs on your dinosaur tour, right? Hello?" - Ian Malcolm, 'Jurassic Park'

This interesting place is between the bordertown of Del Bonita and historical Whiskey Gap, where the whiskey traders snuck back and forth from Alberta and Montana along the Riplinger Road during the prohibition eras of Canada and the United States. The highway passes over the Milk River here, near an old ford once called Peter's Crossing.

This area is not only of interest to pioneer historians, however; you are in DINOSAUR COUNTRY.

The town of Warner is an hour away, with its famous Devil's Coulee dino museum. It's well worth a stop to visit the baby Hadrosaurs. Since you're passing by, though, dinosaur bones were also discovered in that exposed cliff face there across the river where you're standing along the north side of the highway.

The cache is a camouflaged lock 'n' lock containing a logbook, a pencil, and a mini-hoard of hungry dinos. They seem plastic and helpless but, if you're not careful, you might find you have less fingers than you had when you found this cache. Count them before you go.

DO NOT CROSS THE FENCES. There are signs asking you not to trespass. Pull well off the highway into the approach and watch for traffic.

CONGRATS TO MORENEWS FOR THE FTF!!!
