Grotta dei Falsari o Briganti
 La Grotta dei Falsari (detta anche Grotta dei Briganti) non è propriamente una grotta, ma piuttosto un antro roccioso che si affaccia sul mare con una spettacolare apertura semicircolare di 25 metri di diametro poco sopra la Via Aurelia. Questa grotta è stata creata dall'acqua dolce e poi modellata dal mare quando raggiungeva i 100 metri sopra al livello del mare attuale. Sul fondo della grotta si possono notare alcuni muretti a secco diroccati, che vengono fatti risalire ad epoca romana.
Concedetevi una pausa in questo bellissimo luogo con una vista spettacolare!
accesso: Ci sono tre possibilità:
da Varigotti in Via Vecchia prendere il sentiero segnato con una X rossa per Capo Noli (Punta Crena, Torre delle Streghe, Semaforo di Capo Noli), poi dal Semaforo di Capo Noli, oggi una stazione meteorologica prendere la strada sterrata che scende verso Noli e successivamente seguire il cartello che vi indica la grotta. In tutto questo percorso dura circa 80 minuti.
da Noli: Potete parcheggiare presso la Chiesa di San Francesco all'estremità meridionale dell'abitato al waypoint "PK". Sul retro della chiesa prendere il sentiero n. 1 (rete sentieristica Noli Natura) che sale verso Capo Noli. Incontrerete i ruderi della Chiesa di San Lazzaro con l'annesso lazzaretto, e quelli della Chiesa di S. Margherita, dopo i quali, seguire verso sinistra in discesa il sentiero n.2 della medesima rete che in breve Vi conduce alla Grotta dei Falsari. ( Durata percorso circa 50 minuti).
dalla S.S. 1 Via Aurelia: Questa è la strada nettamente più corta e veloce ma anche la più "pericolosa in quanto dovrete parcheggiare in uno degli slarghi nei paraggi e poi percorrere la Via Aurelia che in questo tratto è priva di marciapiede. Al relativo Waypoint "TA" bisogna passare la rete anti caduta massi e poi seguire il sentiero (due arancione) in salita per circa 10 minuti, ed eccovi all'entrata della grotta.
il cache: small, camuffato, all'esterno della grotta. La ricezione gps non è certamente delle migliori ma con l'ausilio delle indicazioni non dovreste avere problemi.
attrezzatura: calzature adeguate, acqua, soprattutto in estate. Non serve una torcia, l'interno è illuminato.
 A balcony over the sea
The cavern of the Counterfeiters (also known as Cave of Brigands) is not really a cavern, but rather a rocky hollow overlooking the sea with a spectacular semi-circular opening of 25 meters in diameter just above the Via Aurelia. This cave was created from the fresh water and then shaped by the sea when it reached 100 meters above current sea level. On the bottom you can see some crumbling stone walls, which are traced back to Roman times.
Take a rest and admire this fantastic place with it's great view over the coast!
access: There are three options:
from Varigotti in Via Vecchia, take the path marked with a red X for Cape Noli (Punta Crena, Torre delle Streghe, Semaforo di Capo Noli), then at Semaforo di capo Noli, which is today a weather station, take the dirt road that descends to Noli and then follow the sign that indicates the cave. This journey takes about 80 minutes.
from Noli: You can park at the Church of San Francesco at the southern end of town at the waypoint "PK". On the back of the church take the path n. 1 (path network Noli Natura) that rises towards Capo Noli. Meet the ruins of the Church of St. Lazzaro with the adjoining hospital, and those of the Church of St. Margherita, after which turn left down the path No. 2 of the same path network that quickly leads you to the Cave. (Duration about 50 minutes).
from the street S.S. 1 Via Aurelia: This is the way much shorter and faster but also the most "dangerous because you have to park in one of the open spaces around and then walk the Via Aurelia, without any sidewalk. At the Waypoint "TA" you have to pass the fence which protects the street from rockfall and then follow the path n. 2 (orange) uphill for about 10 minutes, and you're at the cave entrance.
the cache: small and camo, placed outside the cave. The gps signal is poor but with the hints you should find the cache without any particular problems.
equipment: appropriate footwear and water, especially in summer. You won't need a torch as it's bright inside.
 Ein Balkon über dem Meer
Die Grotte der Fälscher (auch als Grotte der Räuber bekannt) ist nicht wirklich eine Grotte, sondern eine offene Felsenhöhle mit einer spektakulären halbkreisförmigen Öffnung von 25 Meter Durchmesser knapp oberhalb der Via Aurelia von wo aus man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer hat. Diese Höhle wurde durch das herunterfliessende Süßwasser erzeugt und dann durch das Meer geform, als sich dieses noch rund 100 Meter über dem aktuellen Meeresspiegel befand. Im unteren Teil sieht man ein paar bröckelnde Mauern, die auf die Römerzeit zurück zu führen sind.

Zugang: Es gibt drei Möglichkeiten:
von Varigotti in der Via Vecchia, den mit einem roten X markierten Weg nach Capo Noli (Punta Crena, Torre delle Streghe, Semaforo di Capo Noli) hinauf gehen, dann am Semaforo di Capo Noli, heutzutage eine Wetterstation, den Schotterweg nehmen, der hinab nach Noli führt; danach dem Schild folgen, welches auf die Höhle verweist. Dauer in etwa 80 Minuten.
von Noli: Ihr könnt an der Kirche San Francesco am südlichen Ende der Stadt zu parken, am waypoint "PK", und auf der Rückseite der Kirche den Weg n. 1 (Wegenetz Noli Natura) in Richtung Capo Noli hinauf gehen. Nach den Ruinen der Kirche des St. Lazzaro mit dem angrenzenden Krankenhaus, und jenen der Kirche St. Margherita, nehmt Ihr an einer Kurve den Wanderweg Nr. 2 (orange) des gleichen Wegenetzes, welcher Euch relativ schnell herab zum Höhleneingang führen wird. (Dauer ca. 50 Minuten).
von der Küstenstrasse S.S. 1 Via Aurelia:. Dies ist der mit Abstand schnellste und kürzeste Weg , aber auch am "gefährlichsten", weil Ihr an einer breiteren Stelle auf der Küstenstrasse parken müsst um dann ohne Bürgersteig zum waypoint "TA" zu laufen. Am Wegpunkt dann an dem Schutznetz gegen Steinschlag vorbei und den Pfad Nr. 2 (orange) steil hinauf sodass Ihr in 10 Minuten am Höhleneingang seid.
Der Cache: small und camo, ausserhalb der Hoehle. Der gps-Empfang ist relativ schlecht doch mit dem Hint solltet Ihr den cache ohne probleme finden.
Ausrüstung: geeignetes Schuhwerk, Wasser, vor allem im Sommer. Es ist keine Taschenlampe notwendig, drinnen ist es hell.
