Geocache Description:

This was placed for Charlie's Caching Challenge following the CT Trails event on June 2, 2012.

This is the oldest burying ground in West Hartford. It was set aside for the use of the residents in 1719 and remained the only cemetery in the city until 1790. The parents of Noah Webster are buried here. Please be respectful of these very old stones. Parking can be a challenge.
