Geocache Description:


This geocache is my first and is dedicated to a great friend of mine whom I met at the site of this cache. In fact, the irony of the cache is that this person hates birds -- but a hidden compartment within the cache reveals things that remind me of this person. The cache can be found within the arboretum of the Penn State University Mont Alto campus. It’s camouflaged well and should be a fun adventure to find! A beautiful view is located near the location of the cache, and near the cache location is a nice place to sit and log your find! The trick to this cache is that it might seem to be “invisibly” staring at you before you realize it’s there. Despite its appearance, this cache is guaranteed to be uninhabited and is totally fowl free. You’ll need to walk about 3/10th of a mile from the obvious parking to get to the cache, but the surroundings are beautiful and should be muggle free approximately 90% of the time. Happy hunting!
 
The log sheet container is small and contains only a log sheet…so BYOP! You’ll also discover that the log sheet container can be removed to reveal the larger, “hidden” compartment filled with several sentimental goodies. Please be sure to replace the small log sheet container before you leave!
