When was the last time you went out to blow bubbles?
Join your fellow cachers in Cuesta Park at the posted coordinates (or close by if someone is in that spot prior to my arrival) for World Wide Flash Mob IX. All ages are welcome.
BYOB: Bring Your Own Bubbles!!!
10 am-- I will arrive with my small bubble machine to get things going and feel free to run over and join in. Next to the bubble machine I will place a small bright green bucket that will serve as a TB swap. I’m hoping to have a TB or two prior to the event already in the bucket. Please keep to the regular geocaching rules. Leave 1 and take 1! There will also be a clipboard with a log. BYOP just in case someone steals mine.
10:10 am-- Picture time! Everyone gather in front of the bubble machine. The log will have a spot for you to write down your e-mail address if you want me to send you a copy of the picture.
10:15 am—Disperse!! Remember, this is a flash mob so do not leave any evidence (e.g. TRASH) behind.
Reminders:
• Show up early and hang out unnoticed.
• BYOB
• Sign the log book. BYOP
• Log your attendance on geocaching.com within 2 weeks of the event. I will archive the event 2 weeks after it. According to the Flash Mob website they are working on a souvenir if you log in within the 2 weeks.
Note that there is a cache in the park! Have fun!!!
Please feel free to RSVP so we all have an idea of how many people will be enjoying this fun time.
I highly doubt there will be any rain, but if there is, this event will be cancelled since the bubbles will not survive the rain.
UPDATE!!!!
I received an e-mail from the main organizer of the WWFM. Time to “remind” you to log in as “attended” within 2 DAYS to receive a souvenir designed by Groundspeak. Also, apparently there will be a prize drawing via a website. There will be a flyer available in the TB bucket with the prize drawing website.
